The used vehicle market holds great potential for the Alliance brands and for RCI Bank and Services. In Europe alone, 13 million used vehicles were sold in 2016, three times the number of new vehicles. To capitalize on this fast-growing market, Renault has rolled out its Renault SELECTION program in 27 countries for three years. In Ireland, Renault and Dacia vehicles must be less than six years old and have fewer than 120,000 km to qualify for the program.

An attractive rate, choice of payment plans and a 2 year warranty is a winning combo for Irish customers

RCI Bank and Services decided to support the carmakers by offering loans at a 1.72% APR in September and October. This rate, the lowest in the Irish market, was clearly a hit with Renault and Dacia’s retail customers, as sales increased by 12%, compared with the same period in 2016.

Services were part of the deal, too. To make sure used car buyers would enjoy carefree driving, each loan included a two-year warranty and assistance plan.
